Check Out the Wienerfest Home County Festival
At Pittock Conservation Area on June 22, you can join other dog lovers at the Wienerfest Home County Festival. As Canada’s largest breed-specific event, the Wienerfest Home County Festival showcases Dachshunds of all sizes. However, you are welcome to bring any dog to this event. Your dog will be considered an honorary Dachshund for the day. And, if you don’t have a dog, just bring the family and enjoy the company of some four-legged friends.
This free, day-long festival is open to all ages. All proceeds will fund pet rescue and raising awareness for abandoned and abused animals throughout Canada. The festival also works under the umbrella of Tiny Paws Dog Rescue, a registered national charity.
You can expect Dachshund races, costume contests, as well as photo opportunities with the “Wienermobile.” The Wienerfest Home Country Festival features over 100 exhibitors from Woodstock and across North America, selling products such as animal dietary products, clothing, pet services, and more. There will also be a veterinarian and a pet trainer on-site to answer your questions regarding your pets.
Many food trucks will be on-site as well. Bring your dog and loved ones out for this fun summer event in Woodstock.
