The 2022 Palisade offers a spacious and luxurious cabin. The interior comes standard with seating for up to eight people. However, the Calligraphy and Limited trims come standard with captain's chairs in the second row, which means that the cabin can seat up to seven occupants. There is plenty of space in all three rows of seating to ensure that no passenger ever feels too crowded or confined while riding in the vehicle. The rear cargo area is also spacious and can be expanded by lowering both the second and third-row seats. The 2022 Palisade comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display that features a wide range of advanced apps, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is an available 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display that also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto but adds a built-in navigation system as well as SiriusXM radio to the mix.
To add an extra level of convenience and safety to the vehicle, the Palisade also offers an available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The instrument cluster can be customized to display the information that is most important to you. It also provides a live view of the Blind Spot Monitor system while you are driving down the road.
All Palisade models come equipped with a 3.8-litre V6 engine that is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and delivers 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. For a more controlled driving experience, all models also come standard with steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles to allow you to shift the gears manually.
Front-wheel drive comes standard, but all-wheel-drive is available. If you choose AWD, you will also be able to take advantage of the Palisade's drive mode selector. With just a turn of the dial, you can choose between Mud, Sand, Snow, Comfort, Smart, Eco, or Sport mode.
