The 2026 IONIQ 6 N is Hyundai's entry into electric performance territory. This high-performance sedan features dual motors with advanced battery management and motorsport-inspired technology.
The IONIQ 6 N features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system generating 601 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque in standard output. Activate N Grin Boost, and those figures climb to 641 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. The front motor produces 223 horsepower (235 horsepower in boost mode), while the rear motor delivers 378 horsepower (406 horsepower in boost mode).
With N Launch Control engaged, the IONIQ 6 N accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of approximately 160 mph (257 km/h).
An 84.0 kWh high-voltage battery powers the IONIQ 6 N, with fast-charging capability reaching 10% to 80% in about 18 minutes under optimal conditions using a 350 kW charger. The N Battery system features optimized temperature management that adapts to drag, sprint, or endurance driving scenarios, ensuring consistent performance during track sessions.
The IONIQ 6 N measures 194.3 inches in length and 76.4 inches in width, with a widened stance reinforced by motorsport-inspired aerodynamic elements including a swan neck rear wing. The vehicle rides on exclusive 275/35R20 HN-marked Pirelli P-Zero tires developed specifically for the IONIQ 6 N.
Inside, bucket seats upholstered in Alcantara suede and genuine leather provide support during spirited driving, while Performance Blue accents throughout the black cabin reinforce the N identity. An exclusive N Pasubio steering wheel features dedicated N1/N2 buttons for rapid mode selection.
The IONIQ 6 N will arrive in Canada in the first quarter of 2026.
The 2026 Elantra N TCR Edition arrived in Canada earlier this year and was introduced to the US market at AutoMobility LA 2025. This limited-production tribute to Hyundai's six consecutive TCR Manufacturers' Championships in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series brings race-derived aesthetics and performance enhancements to the street-legal Elantra N platform.
The Elantra N TCR Edition retains the standard Elantra N's 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, producing 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque. DCT-equipped models gain access to N Grin Shift, temporarily boosting output to 286 horsepower.
Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission with downshift rev-matching or an 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (N-DCT).
The Elantra N TCR Edition includes drive mode selection with N/Custom modes, an electronic limited-slip differential, and electronically controlled suspension for enhanced cornering capability.
The 2026 Elantra N TCR Edition is available now at Canadian Hyundai dealers as a limited production run. Four exterior colours are offered: Abyss Black, Atlas White, Cyber Grey, and Performance Blue.
